Please see the article below from the Environment Agency, specifying the new regulation surrounding POPs (persistent organic pollutants).

Key Points:-

To understand for our customers who use us for their waste disposal:

All of our waste goes as waste to energy via either SRF or RDF.
Your paperwork (WTN) will specify that your load may contain POP’s which the EA are satisfied with.
It came into force on the 1st of January 2023.
No price increases have been introduced for our customers because of the new legislation.
